Western Collective Delivery Driver

We are looking for a new team member here at Western Collective who will be our front lines out around our self distributing markets here in Idaho. You would have potentially the most important job out of our whole company, which is to get beer in the keg coolers of accounts so they can serve the thirsty people of Idaho!  This role is Garden City based and will include regular delivery routes throughout Treasure Valley, Ketchum, McCall, and Twin Falls. The Delivery Role must share Western Collectives commitment to respect, safety, business ethics, quality, timeliness, and doing the right thing every time.

    • The primary actions of the role include
      • Deliver product (kegs, cases, and merchandise) to accounts throughout the Treasure Valley, Magic Valley, Ketchum, and McCall
      • Maintain on and off premise account relationships
      • Manage accounts to responsible inventory levels weekly
      • Prepare outgoing shipments
      • Pick orders in timely manner to ensure orders are built well in advanced before ship date
      • Manage deliveries and invoices within ERP system
      • Assist with keeping inventory/batch rotation
      • Follow established procedures to keep warehousing areas clean and safe
      • Be a team player and able to interact with all levels within the organization
      • Adhere to and enforce all applicable local, state and federal laws, rules, and regulations
      • Other tasks as needed
  • DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

        • Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
        • Able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check
        • Organized and efficient at planning your delivery route
        • Valid state Driver License in good standing
        • Early morning, evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
        • Strong work ethic and self-starting attitude
        • Strong interpersonal skills and a love for meeting and interacting with people
        • Thorough attention to detail and desire to take initiative
        • Must adhere to company’s policies and procedures
        • Desire to work in a fast-paced, growing company
        • Comfortable driving a large vehicle
        • Familiar with driving in the city
        • Clean DMV Record
        • Comfortable driving a forklift and using pallet jack
  • PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

      • Able to stand for prolonged periods
      • Able to stoop, crawl, twist, turn, lift, kneel, climb ladders and stairs
      • Able to manipulate valves and clamps
      • Able to regularly lift/carry 44-pound boxes
      • Able to regularly lift/carry 55-pound bags above waist level
      • Able to regularly twist, turn, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, crawl, lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds using appropriate techniques and tools
      • Able to lift/move 165 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
      • Able to both work and thrive in a high-stress environment that has a quiet to moderate noise level
      • Able to read and follow written English instructions
      • Able to work in a factory/production environment which may be loud, slick, humid, cold, and hot
      • Able to work in indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise and occasionally slippery floors
      • Able to comply with and enforce all health, safety, and personal hygiene policies and standards
      • Willing to work long days and overtime as needed
